Is Data Destruction free?
Data Destruction is free as part of our e-waste removal service.
A fee will apply for Data Wiping of media that will be returned to you. 

What happens after data is destroyed?
Some media can be  re-purposed or up-cycled after data destruction.
Most is broken down and separated then distributed to recyclers and manufacturers to make new electronic devices or other items.

Do you provide a Certificate of Destruction?
Yes! Customers can request a Certificate of Destruction complete with serial numbers of all drives destroyed.

Can a hard drive be destroyed by submerging it in water?
Leaving a hard drive submerged for an extended period of time will make the drive non functional. However, it does not get rid of data stored magnetically on the interior plates.
